Knect
A personal relationship copilot that helps one person keep in touch with the people who matter and keep the commitments made to them.
What it does
- Finds the people the owner actually communicates with, using the owner's own messages, email, calendar and contacts.
- Keeps a list of the people worth staying in touch with and reminds the owner when it has been a while.
- Notices promises made to and by those people so they are not forgotten.
- Uses the owner's address book, read-only, to attach names, phone numbers and email addresses to the right person.
How it runs
Knect runs locally on the owner's own computer and is reachable only from that computer. Its data is stored in a local database on that machine, not on a server operated by Knect. This website is only an informational page for the project and for Google's OAuth consent screen. The app itself is not served from here.
Google data
Knect asks for read-only access to Google Contacts so it can match names, email addresses and phone numbers to people the owner already communicates with. It never changes the address book. See the privacy policy for details, and the terms of use.
